first up: a premier league pub quiz
name every player who's scored 50+ goals in the premier league, or every club ever to play in it. host it from your phone. free, no signup.
pick a mode
two flavours. 50-goal club: 109 players who've scored fifty premier league goals or more. 51 clubs: every team to play a single premier league match since 1992.
host the night
open the app on your phone. the lads shout names. you type them in and tap whoever said it first. it handles misspellings, nicknames, — cr7, big dunc, baggies, all fine.
deep cuts pay
obvious answers like shearer or man utd are worth 1 point. nobody-on-the-quiz answers like nwankwo kanu or oldham athletic are worth 10. rewards actual knowledge, not just confidence.
why i made it up
i was at the pub one friday with a folded printout of premier league all-time scorers. half the names crossed out, half a pint of guinness on it by the end of the night.
the lads loved it. someone said this should be online. so i built it. that was a couple of weekends ago.
